Precious Leggings

Lo and behold, I have finally overcome my fear of and frustrations with taking outfit photos (thank you for putting up with me and having the patience of a saint as always, Adam) and I'm genuinely pleased with the results. I really hope to do more fashion posts in the future as I actually had quite a lot of fun putting this together. For now, you're going to have to go easy on me with this one!

7 Things To Do When It All Gets A Bit Too Much

We can all easily find ourselves suddenly feeling like everything is a bit too much. Getting swept up in the throws of life - we're only human, and it's inevitable. I can certainly say that as of late, I'm no stranger to this feeling. When I start to feel like everything is piling up all too quickly, there are a few things I like to do to allow myself to take a step back and snap out of my down-warding spiral.

Korean Beauty: June Beauteque BB Bag

Courtesy of the lovely team at Beauteque, I recently received the June edition of their monthly subscription service: the BB Bag*. Beauteque is a global brand which specializes in Korean beauty with an attractive array of adorably packaged products available on their online store. Each month, the BB Bag contains seven to eight full sized products ranging from make-up, to skincare, to fashion and even lifestyle. Not having any clue what to expect, I was so pleasantly surprised when my BB Bag arrived on my doorstep. The products were neatly packaged in a cute Parisian-themed make-up bag and inside I received:

IN! Magazine's Beauty Brunch at The Ivory Restaurant

On Sunday, the lovely Caitlin and I attended the Beauty Brunch event in Belfast, hosted by IN! Magazine in collaboration with The Ivory Restaurant and House of Fraser. The purpose of the event was to showcase a few of the brands available in House of Fraser by means of a beauty masterclass and to sample The Ivory Restaurant's brand new Sunday brunch menu. I couldn't think of a better way to spend a Sunday morning!

Five Favourite Reads #1

One of my favourite parts of blogging is the wonderful community of creative and inspiring individuals behind it. I try to read as many blogs, old and new, as often as I can. Nothing makes my dull morning commute brighter. An abundance of hard work goes into blogging, more than you could begin to imagine, and I place such importance on the impact of sharing and supporting fellow bloggers, no matter how big or small their little spaces of the internet may be. Beginning today, as often as I can I would like to share with you five different bloggers I think you would be crazy to miss out on, starting with these wondrous women!

My Go-To Radiant Spring/Summer Make-Up

For me, make-up in Spring/Summer is all about those pink-toned nudes, light colours and radiant, dewy finishes. There are a few products that I have been obsessing over recently which I've been been reaching for on a daily basis to create my current go-to look for the brighter and (hopefully) warmer seasons!

A High-End Wishlist

Let's start with beauty. After seeing so many people raving about the By Terry Ombre Blackstar eyeshadows I'm desperate to get my hands on them. They are super pigmented cream eyeshadows that apparently apply like a dream. The shade I'm lusting after is Frozen Quartz, which is a gorgeous shimmery pink-toned shade. Delilah Pure Touch Micro Fine Loose Powder is a super fine translucent powder used for setting liquid/cream foundations. You apply it in the areas you're prone to shine and it'll tone it down without feeling too heavy on your skin, whilst giving you a radiant finish all at the same time. I'm quite prone to oiliness around my T-Zone and it looks as though this could be the answer to my problems. The Emma Hardie Amazing Face Cleansing Balm is a skincare gem that I'm itching to try. It's a cleanser that moisturises the skin at the same time and is particularly calming for sensitive skin. Not only that, but it purifies and minimises the appearance of open pores. It just sounds like a holy grail for skincare. Lastly, Soleil Tan De Chanel is a cream bronzer which glides over your skin to give a glowing, bronzed, natural, healthly finish. Don't they all just sound dreamy?

I have a serious thing for handbags and purses right now. One that caught my eye was the Love Moschino Black Nappa Leather Quilted Small Flapover Bag which would be perfect for occasion-wear, for parties or date nights. Another was this Karen Millen Printed Clutch, which is just such a perfect clutch for Spring/Summer. I'm obsessed with the print, it's so beautiful.

I never really used to wear watches or even particularly like them, but I seem to be taking more of a liking to them, especially since my ever-growing rose gold obsession. This Classic Sheffield watch by Daniel Wellington is one of those ones that is changing my entire outlook on watches. I love that it's minimalistic - it's absolutely gorgeous. And I'm not one to say no to rose gold.

Finally, the two high-end items that are tied at number one on my lust list. The Burberry Trench coat is the trench coat only dreams are made of. I'm obsessed with the stone coloured slim fit trenches. What more can I say? They are divine. Along with this, the Ted Baker Hickory Stab Stitch handbag is one that I have been harping on about for the longest time. It's the dreamiest soft leather bag with rose gold hardware. Alas, my bank account says no.

What high-end items have you been lusting after lately? Let me know in the comments below!

Thank you so much for reading!
