3 Beauty Products I'm Using Religiously Right Now.

3 beauty products i'm using religiously

At the beginning of this year, I set myself a personal goal of making more of a conscious effort to get full and proper use out of my beauty products, as opposed to nonchalantly adding to my already moderately extensive collection every other week. Ultimately, it's all in a bid to stop myself from flitting back and forth between products which usually pulls me out of having a solid routine and perhaps more importantly, in a mighty bid to start saving my pennies. By doing so, I've rekindled my unrelenting love for a few former holy grail products and have been using them religiously ever since.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

For a long time, I set this concealer to one side in favour of the Nars Radiant Creamy concealer. However, as wonderful a product as it may be, it's certainly no secret that having to repurchase a high end concealer isn't the softest of blows to your penny stash. That's why, as of right now, Collection's Lasting Perfection concealer is the only concealing product that can be found in my beauty stash and truthfully, I wouldn't have it any other way. We're all well aware of how affordable this high street gem is, which is part of the reason I praise it so highly. But what's even more satisfying about this product than its price is the sheer quality you get from this product. It's a brilliantly creamy, high coverage concealer that works wonders for covering blemishes, scarring and dark circles. I'd even go as far to say that Collection's Lasting Perfection concealer trumps anything else I've ever used - including coveted high-end products.

Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick

Although this product is something that was not rediscovered and is in fact totally brand new to me, I couldn't write this post without giving it an honorable mention - because holy sh*t, is it possible to be in love with a liquid lipstick? Because I think I might be. I've been hooked on the NYX matte lip cremes for the best part of a year now, and have dipped my toes in the vast ocean of other liquid lipstick brands such as Gerard Cosmetics and Stila - but Kat Von D's Everlasting Liquid Lipstick's are on another level. They apply effortlessly and dry to the most pleasingly soft, matte finish. I've been wearing Bow 'n' Arrow (a beautifully muted, medium-dark beige-brown nude with warm undertones) at every given opportunity in recent weeks, and I've found the lasting power to be the most impressive out of any other liquid lipsticks I've ever used.

Nars Blush

Here's the thing: I have a very on/off relationship with blush as a whole. For the best part of a year I completely neglected it entirely, it just wasn't a part of my everyday beauty routine. However, I recently reached for my once beloved Nars Blush in 'Sin' and I have found myself under the spell of blusher once again. It is a powder blush in the most beautiful berry shade, which is a super flattering shade against my pale skin and green eyes no matter the time of the year. The carefully crafted, luxurious formulation of this high-end product means that it blends with ease. It's true - this blush has got me hook, line and sinker all over again. But hey, I'm really not complaining when it looks as good as it does.
